- yes, it will work, but it requires modification, both to the chassis (as in you can't just bolt it on, things need to be altered) and the PCM. there are writeups on this site, search for one.
- you will need to buy a new stall. 4L80's take different stalls.
note that the 4L80E is a heavy trans and is best suited for higher horsepower (600rwhp+) applications where the extra weight becomes meaningless. of course, if you don't mind the extra weight, it'll likely be the last trans you ever buy.
