Default Lowering the 2-3 shift speed...

I recently had my tranny rebuilt by GM. The 1-2 shift is extremely hard and even barks the tires from time to time. It seems to shift just before redline. The 2-3 shift seems to drag on and not shift very hard at all. VIDEO EXAMPLE OF MY CAR... CLICK HERE I need to lower my shift speed by 2-3 mph or by 100-200 rpms. Can this be done with LS1 Edit or EFI Live?

Unless you are hitting the limiter sometimes, I didn't see a problem in that video.

But to answer your question, yes they can.

That video is not as bad as it sometimes is. It is not much of a delay, but an obvious difference from the 1-2 shift.

Listening to it again I think I noticed it. Definetely get a hold of a tuner. EFI Live, HP Tuners, Tunercat can all do it.

sounds like it is barely touching the limiter. almost any tuner can adjust the shift rpm for you...

my car did the same thing, after some trans tuning it was no longer a problem. now (when it decides to shift 2-3) it is very fast and crisp.

Not sure if this helps, but on our 86 vette 700R4 the 1-2 shift is much much crisper than the 2-3 shift... and always has been. I know the car is 20 years old but it only has 17k miles on it. Maybe it's just the design of the 700R4/4L60E?
