Default trans buckin

anyone know what the cause might be for my transmission shifting really hard especially in 1 rst goin into 2nd. its an automatic. checked fluids and fluid was supposedly changed by dealership before i got the car. plz help

Do you know if the previous own had a shift kit installed in it?

no i don't my wife bought me the car and the dealership had no records for the car it was bought from a tittle loan place

When I had my car tuned they adjusted the shift firmness. To the point that under slight excelleration the tires will chirp on the way into second. So your car could of been tuned to be firm. Best way to tell is if your car has any mods that would require tunning. Most people wont tune the car if it's stock.

it hasn't been tuned the service engine light pops on and the tranny bucks, car has 134k on it and as far as i can tell its all original idon't think the person who had the car before took very good care of it.

You should check to see what the ses light is. I'll bet it is trans related. Get that info and let us know.

i will when i finally get a day off from work
. i'll go where my wife bought the car they don't charge me to check anything usually if its anything minor they just fix it at no cost to me
