Default New B&M Shifter?

Anybody know the guy who works for B&M? A little while ago he was talking about a shifter for our cars (Fbody) and I was wondering what the status was on that new product. This guy is a member and he gave us numbers to call to harrass the R&D dept at B&M about it to get it made and in our hands. Gotta love the guy for that!

It is very close to being finalized. It unfortunately will not make a SEMA debut, but should be out shortly there after.

Well thats been the whole problem.... no one makes a console mounted shifter that fits in a LS1 / 4th gen camaro without carving the console up.... does this new shifter mount clean ???

Who would want to do that?
Sorry, I am just not a fan of the LS1 interior, the LT1 style looks more aggresive to me.

Hey 12sesSS? You got any pics of that new shifter that you guys are making? Sure would be nice to see what its gonna look like. What about its function? Is it a ratchet style like the Quicksilver? What about reverse lockouts? Color options? Does it come with a place for a nitrous switch, a trans brake or line lock? Does it come with a free T-shirt? How about a picture of a luscious hot babe with her ti.......OOPPSS!! Sorry, I got carried away!!

the console design of the lt1 sucks nuts and the ls1 console has 4 cup holders instead of just one mainy, mine is still the lt1 console tho

It is based on the Quicksilver design, although using a shorter stick (Pro-Ratchet). It will retain all the features of the Quicksilver, yet will work with the OEM cables and console. Color options? It will match the OE interior. Just like the Quicksilver, you will be able to select from an array of shift ***** we have available ... be it the round **** (with or without a button), the T-Handle (with or without button) or the Quicksilver ****. The last one request, I will see what I can do.
