Default Which Converter

I am looking into one right now. I have no idea where to begin though. I have the mods in my signature right now, plus I will be getting a cam in the near future, what stall, brand etc should I look at for a street driven car. On occasion the strip as well.

anything under 3500 is pointless, even in a stock car. My freind has a Yank SS3800 in his car w/ a cam, drove like stock and hit like no tomorrow, Awsome converter!. TCI streetfighters are a good bang for the buck.

Are you kidding me?? i have a 3400 and its extremely loose! Id say a 3000 with full lockup would be perfect.

Personally I would go 3600 + stall. This coming from a person that DD a 4000 stall car though. I've seen too many people say "I wish I would have gone bigger" Go big, do it once, do it right. That's my .02

i agree with high stall....i had a 4000 stall in a 2.73 geared car...that only had a lid and catback....it was very loose....it was always funny watching it shift from 3-4 and going from about 4k all the way down to 1500.....but i am glad i went big...i now have a 230/236 cam in that car and i'm glad i didin;t get like a 2800 or 3000 cause i would have to do it again
