Default Deep-pan/tranny temp

Just curious, you guys with tranny fluide temp. guages, how much did adding a deep pan by itself drop your temp?

I can't say how much the deep pan dropped temps since I didn't put in the guage until I did the deep pan. However, I run any where between 120-160 depending on conditions.

Would a stock LS1 A4 (stock stall, ect) require more than a deep-pan? I would like to avoid running extra lines if I can and would like to opt for the B&M caste alum. 3qt + deep-pan in stead, will this cool as well as a cooler?
