Default PT4400?s

I'm finally going to step up my converter. Thinking about the PT4400/2.2, I figure that the 2.2 str will hit alittle softer then the 2.6 would. Not planning to spray but want the most from my set up. My shift points are 7k and would like a killer shift extention but I would rather not have a really hard hit off the line. With this little vig I'm able to control the launch really well and always been able to get good results.

1- Is the 2.2 str a good choice?

2- How controllable is the launch?

3- What would the shift extention be with a 7k shift point.

4- Do you think I would see 3/10ths?

As always thanks for the help

I got the 2.5 and I love it

With slicks you'll be good, with street tires or radials no way

with slicks more maybe

1- Is the 2.2 str a good choice? Yes. It will still hook hard and pull strong on the top end.

2- How controllable is the launch? I cut consistent 1.5x 60-fts with my PT4000 and MT DR's.

3- What would the shift extention be with a 7k shift point. I shift mine a 7000 rpm and the shift extension is very high; about 5200-5300 rpms.

4- Do you think I would see 3/10ths? Don't know.
