Th400 or 4L80E Which one should i get my cars going to see mostly street use but some track im looking to make 800 to 900 rwhp with a 408 turbod which trans would be the best choise

depends on how much you are gonna drive it around the street. the only difference between the two besides price is gas mileage. the 400 will be a lil faster on the strip (it takes less hp to turn) but other than that higher final drive ratio is the only difference.

I went with the 4l80 
But I sold my t56 to make up the difference. I wanted a th400 but I am happy I went with the 80 now. Much easier to drive to the local meets.
