LT1 to LS1 4L60E
Been looking through past threads and havent found my answer. What would it take to put a LS1 4L60E behind a LT1? I've upgraded my LT1 to a 94 Camaro wiring harness and I'm dumping the TPIS speed density and 4L60.Thanks Mike

Well there are two ways to handle that ,
1- use the 94 4L60E and install the LS1 wiring harness and solenoids, wont have to worry about PWM that way PWM solenoid will just act as a dummy,
2- the LS1 trans will bolt up there will be a few issues with mounts . But the big problem will have to do with the converter pilot and crankshaft , But though would generally be considered odd Im sure that there is a converter adapter or you can probably even have a converter made to do that to, They make them to bolt from a 350 to and ls1 why not and late ls1 to lt1
Personally though if i had a good 94 trans I would go with the first option and buy a really good converter with money saved or get a built 94 with the right harness for the ls1 setup and go that route
