Default New Converter = engine problems?

I got my converter installed and on the drive home my engine really started to stumble and and the car shakes bad when at a stoplight . When i got home i held it a 2k rpms and i could hear it miss a cylinder every few seconds. My converter is a yank 3000 and my car is a 94 z28. I was wondering if my converter swap could be the source of this problem.

I had the exact same problems.. Turned out when I did the install I had to take the o2 sensor out to clear the tranny.. Well I got tranny fluid on the sensor and screwed it up.. Put a new sensor in and all was good.

It may not have to do with the converter but with the install. Check your O2 sensor wiring (and all other sensors) to make sure they are plugged in and not grounding themselves on the header. Also check your grounds.
