My Experiance With YANK Racing ****TWO THUMBS UP******
Hey Guys I run a Yank SS3600 in the S-10 in my sig. I love this converter. The truck weighs 3850lbs with driver. Its pretty tight around town but flashes hard and works great.
Here is the Proof of this converter.
Previous Converter was a trailblazer 2500rpm unit. Stock LS1 Intake & TB
Best N/A pass
13.55@104MPH 2.05 60'
Best 100 Shot pass
12.59@114MPH 1.85 60'
---------------------------
Converter Change to Yank SS3600 as well as added BBK SSI Intake & TB
Best N/A pass
12.94 @ 108MPH 1.81 60'
Best 100 Shot pass
11.60@118MPH 1.57 60' (Wheels Up!)
Best pass to date
11.27@122.43MPH 1.57 60'
The Yank SS3600 provided me with a full 1 second decrease in ET on a 100 shot. The truck also 60' 1.57 on STOCK suspension with the addition of Comp Eng. Slide-A-links, The battery has not been re-located either.
That is proof that YANK does their homework!!!

My second Yank converter is a Truck Thruster 3000 in a 2004 Sierra.
The engine is a 5.3L with a Comp 269HR 216/220 and a decent tune. The cam really brought the truck to life after 3500rpm.
I contacted Dave at yank and explained to him that the truck was not a race truck. More of a street toy that would be towing my S-10. I also informed him that the truck had 20" wheels with a 32" Tall tire. Dave recommended the Truck thruster 3000 because of its high STR and the ability to retain factory tow capacities. I installed the truck thruster this past week expecting a very tight converter that would flash to about 2600-2800 rpm... My expectations were far exceeded. The converter will flash to 3300rpm and at part to mid throttle really brings the truck to life. The High STR makes rolling onto the throttle in second gear quite a pleasure.
The truck is equipped with 4 wheel disks and would have a little trouble turning the 285/50/20's on dry pavement before. Now with the YANK TT3000 it will blaze the tires with little or no effort.
I cant explain how happy I am with Yank and their converters. I would highly recommend that any one looking for a great converter consider a YANK unit.
THANKS TO DAVE AND YANK!
