Matching Shifter to Manual 4L80E I have a B&M megashifter and a full manual 4L80e.
i am just getting to the stage of connecting the shifter on to the G/box. Do i just count this trans as a normal 4 speed GM trans and follow the equivalent instructions?

Yes! Pretty much all transmissions (in regards to aftermarket shifters) have the detents in the same position, nothing special required. This applies to A2, A3 and A4 only.
