4L80E Conversion Ground Clearance
I tried to search for the answer to my question, but couldn't find anything...
How much lower does the 4L80E hang than the 4L60E? My car is lowered and any more loss of ground clearance will not work, so I may be stuck converting to a T56.
Thanks

Thanks, but now that makes my decision hard again!?!?!?
-Both T56 and a 4L80E can be built to hold 900FWHP in a street car
-T56 has a MUCH better final ratio
-4L80E easier to drive a high HP car on the street
??????
But thanks for the information

I was just at the SEZ meet in Reynolds, GA, and I don't think anyone - Nissan or Chevy powered Z's had anything good to say about Specs...Their pressure plates seem weak....

The deep Hughes 80E pan made it the lowest point on my car, but it shows no signs of hitting anything - the place I have problems with is the low-hanging driver's side exhaust at the middle of the car due to the header layout.
