no no no no no.....just put in drive and let the computer do the shifting

1. go get your shift points tuned by a basic tuner

2. YOUR not going to outshift a computer....

3. its slamming a transmission and its not good.....

you will end up waisting your time or losing a race i play with mine everyonce in a while, that why there there, to be used. I dont think they made those specifically for racing, more like carrying large loads, driving in the rain or ice, its more for traction and less for acceleration, stick it in OD and givem hell by all means or get a stall kit.

what do you think you are gaining by shifting it manually in a race? do you think you are shifting it more effectively than the computer would?

+1 to what staring said. get it tuned (its worth the money, you'll know why when you get it done) and let the comp do the shifting.

what you are doing is compensating for the lack of proper computer function. in the end you will end up breaking something long before it was supposed to break....

Ok but what about the downshift into 2nd? Not a constant be every now and then?
