Default New Converter issues.

Just installed Precision Vig. converter , Transgo and cooler . Haven't had the car tuned so it's throwing a 1860 TCC PWM code. Made my first full run stalled to about 2300-2500 let off the brake and feathered in the gas. The car blew up the tires then bogged then flashed and pulled hard into second. Then slipped bad into third with the SES light flashing. Any suggestions or did I just make a bad launch ?

Dunno - first thing I'd check for P1860 is the "ENG CTRL" fuse though, maybe that's the reason for the flashing MIL? TTT for you...

The check engine light is flashing because the converter is causing a misfire

THE flashing mill is due to engine miss fire and lockup is probably disabled by the PCM. I would head to the tuner first , But remember if its not locking properly do not drive it a long distance to the tuner it may overheat and vent fluild out the vent tube or do other damage. Short runs only till tuned and the issues solved. Because you did the transgo and the stall at the same time itmay prove difficult to determine if there are any other issue . The slipping into 3rd is bad sign.

Thanks for all the help. I brought the car to Geoff at Thunder Racing and he re tuned the car. It had some codes that were keeping the converter from locking up. The car is pulling hard now.
