Default aNYONE REBUILD THEIR th400? WHAT GOOD PARTS?

Im going to be building a TH400 for my turbo car shortly, just wondering what people use to make them hold up. I'd like it to hold a 1000hp
Other than better clutches what else needs or should be replaced with something better?
Thanks.

make sure to have the smooth race direct drum for the sprag and use the 36 element sprag.
if you get the thin steels (.052) and the thin apply pistons for the forward and direct you can put 6 clutches in the forward drum and 7 in the direct drum with no other modifications i have put 8 in the direct but its a little more involved
you can use the 4l80e intermediate pressure plate and steels and can get 4 clutches in the intermediate instead of the stock 3 you can actually put 5 there but do not do it it will push the 5th clutch of the splines.
get a good shift kit transgo has a really good one for it cant remember the name of it though
use the 4l80e band it is wider
set the clutch pack clerance at around .028
on the VB where the accum is you can plug the oil feed hole with a set screw the feed hole is the perfect size for a 5/16 tap make the band apply faster
this will build you a raping 400 if you know how to build

oh almost forgot when you use the thin steels use a standard steel on top of the piston when building the drum so it doesnt slip under the drum lugs the thin steels can slip under the lug and not apply the clutches....oh and dont use the wave plates
leave the drum seal out of the direct drum applies the whole piston all the time
you can also take every other spring out of the return spring row on the direct it will make it easier to apply the clutches less spring pressure.
put the wave plate back in the forward and dont remove any of the return springs ir will make engagement really harsh
