Best 4l60e turbo stall ideas?
Im building a single turbo forged 347. I want to keep my dr.evil stage 3 because so far its been great. I have a yank 4000ss in there now. I want a converter that will work well with about a 600-650whp turbo setup up. Id like it to be alot tighter then my current yank with the most efficiency.
Any ideas?
Also if i want to lock it on the dyno with that kind of power should i go with a multi disc lock up.

Well a good converter for that combination in my opinion would brake stall somewhere in the low 3000 rpm range... say 3200 - 3400. Not sure how much boost you are going to see, 8-12 #'s I would guess. Any more and you might wanna go even tighter in order to keep from blowing through it on the big end of the power curve. Make sure it has a balloon plate.
As far as locking it up on the dyno, not sure I would personally go through the expense for that, but yes you shold get as much "beef" there as possible. The converter clutch was not originally desigend to carry any sort of a load. Lock Up was designed as a means to increase fuel mileage at high road speeds. In normal conditions it is only applied at light throttle loads, low power situations. But yeah, go with a tripple disk if you are going to lock it on the dyno, the last thing you want is to have the clutch fail and it send debris into the valve body, thus possibly compromising your transmission!
