Yes it should be just fine. About the only thing you'll run in to would be incorrect lock-up timing. Meaning, the tune might have to be adjusted for the new stall speed, but it's no big deal. Some cars throw a P1870 slip code after a converter swap, if so that will need to adjusted in the tune as well.

screw it i got a tune with a smaller stall, much more friendly in the city light to light. plus got some leaking issues fixed.
lol i had issues with the bolts going in as well, they went to a hardware store to get them 88 cents each. stock GMs arent big enough
