What does everything think about this converter? I know someone locally that will sell it to me for $180 bucks still in the box. Car is street driven and my daily. Stock cam etc, 355ci stock rebuild, exhaust . 282HP and 310TQ to the wheels ..

Why spend the time and money on such a small upgrade? IIRC, stock is already 1800, so you aren't going up very much in stall speed.
If you are going to take the effort to remove your transmission, replace the converter, and installer the trans cooler (assuming you don't have one already), then just put a good one in to begin with.

Don't waste your time with a stall that small! I have a 3000 stall on a daily driver and its great! Not to mention a 1.67 sixty on stock suspension ain't to shabby either! My .02!

The car use to be a auto but i converted it to a 6-speed so now im going back to an auto. tranny is already out and just waiting for me to install the shift kit thats why i was asking about this converter. I rly want a 3500 but i cant afford it so ill just run the stock converter now ... Thanks guys

is it an lt1 or ls1?

lt1's tend to like lower stalls than ls1.
