Default Need some help please!

Ok i got a 99 a4 z28 if that matters. But here is my problem its just started doing this last week. At first i thought my tires were out of balance but not the case. car shifts fine, but once i get up to about 65 70mph it starts to vibrate really bad but smooths out a bit when i push the gas its just real bad at a constant speed and coasting. I finally found that i had a massive tranny leak, i got the car on the lift today it looked as though it was coming from around the pan but also the speed sensor, but then again everything was pretty well soaked. Someone had told me that possibly the torque converter might be bad. But your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Based on your comments I am going to suggest that you take a long hard look at your Tailhousing. You might even remove it for inspection.

Many a good 4L60E has had a Tailhousing crack and even break in half causing very similar complaints. I have taken calls very similar to this a bunch lately.
