Default 4l65E for 2002 suburban

where can I obtain one of these? that doesnt require a core charge and not from a dealership..

I broke my 4L65E on my 2002 Suburban 5.3 2wd...

I think its a 4l65E, All data says 4l60E, but I was told otherwise..

anyhow Id like to replace it with a NEW one, and I dont wanna give my old, broken one as a core, because Id like to rebuild it in the future. and I dunno of anywhere that sells em..

Would Jegs or summit have them?

Also Id like to know, if the 4L80E would be a direct replacement for the 4L65E on the suburban, or would i have to make modifications?

thanks..

All Our units are sold no core required and yes a 4l60e/65e are exactly interchangable.. In 2002 its hard to say which it would be for sure but from experince with cores likey its just a 4l60e.
A 4l80e would take considerable modifiction.

If I gave the first 8 digits of the VIN, would you be able to know what Trans the car has?andwhat would fit?

I like your prices and Im just unsure what converter it has. I know the car revs to 1800 when I press on brake and gas at the same time..

Otherwise, Im 90% sure I want the stage 1 4L65E and converter.
