No the early LT1 didnt even have a removable bell , But the late ones did however they retained the eary lt1 style input shaft and pump stator , You cant just swap them. Now it is possible to retro and ls1 input shaft and pump stator into the bolt on bell ls1 however probably far more trouble than its worth. Better to get a trans to fit your car
