Default Hooking up Speedomter to 4L60E

I have a 1964 Malibu SS that I put an LS1 motor and 4L60E tranny into. My speedomter has a cable, but the tranny doesn't have a place for it. Is there an adapter or what. All help would be appreciated.

It is possible, we do these conversions often.

You need an adapter kit that is made for this specific purpose.

I will look up the info tomorrow and post it up. I just looked for a thread I had posted some time ago that showed in great detail what you would need... but I can't find it. And the computer I had them stored on is down right now.

So... if you'll contact me I can get you what you need. And I'll keep hunting for that stinkin' thread too.
