Default coverter rattles!

ok, if im casualy cruising along and slowly accelerating right before it goes into overdrive my converter will rattle, if i give it some gas it will quit. Now if im accelerating halfway quick, say up past 40-45mph it wont do it at all. Ive been told to buy some anti shutter and it will solve the problem, but how??? any other advise?? thanks.

More info please, when you say rattle does it sound is like a metal can with nuts rattling around or more like going over speed bumps and the car shakes.

The fix you are referring to would be if the clutch in the converter was shuddering, you use the additive to help the clutch apply smoothly.

more like the car shakes. For lack of a better example it kinda sounds like wheel of fortune when they spin the wheel lol.

STOP driving it.... bolts are prob lose could be something dif may be a sprag or prosbily a clutch but most likely if what you say is correct and it is coming from the stall see if the bolts are tight if there not put lock tight on em before you bolt it back up.

well im kind of in a bad spot. Its been like 20* lately with snow/ice and my garage is all wet. Maybe i'll just try the anti shutter and see if that helps the problem any.

It could be your tune. My converter would chatter a lot right when it was locking up.

Eliminated pwm and raised the lock up speed to 42 mph and it cleared it right up.
