Got my 80E in.... a few bmr cross member questions

Got my 80E in.... a few bmr cross member questions So my buddies and i installed my 80e today, went in pretty well all said and done, only thing i noticed that was a little weird is that the bmr cross member seems to be a little crooked, bolts holes were a little bit of work to line up, is this common or has anybody else ran into this?? As well the lokar 36 inch 80e dipstick did not fit in i had to take a couple thou off the end to get it to fit into the case, besides that just used the trans mount off of my 60e, its a energy suspension 3.1108g seemed to fit well. Any oppinions on the cross member issue would be appreciated, thanks again guys!!

Yes, mine was a pain in the but, one thing i found worked well is i turned around the tranny mount, that made all the difference. Made the stud on the tranny go in the crossmember hole. Even after taht i ground a lil corner off the back of the tranny where it hit the crossmember. It does seem crooked, thats how its designed.
My 36" lokar fit, i gotta get it secured better in the engine bay, whatd u do? OH, as well i ..with a hammer, bent the back pass. side corner forward enough so it would clear the member.

Im gonna mount the upper side of the dip stick on the cowl of the engine bay under the plastic there is a nice ammount of metal, fits pretty good!!
