Default back yard tranny flush

how do u do this , ive heard that u can flush the tranny as
long as you keep dumping in or sucking it thru the lines.
the guy told me i think to run like twenty quarts thru it and
it should be good and clean,, anyone do this. thanks

I've thought about doing the same thing, but the dipstick tube is so narrow I can't see how you'd be able to keep fluid going in it constantly.

I would think you would need like a 2 or 3 gallon funnel with a tiny tube to fit inside the dipstick.

ya i dont know, sounds kinda funny but i like doing this kinda ****.. 1st the olds..
i thought maby you could take a pail and fill it and pump one in two a empyt
and the other in the full one and let it draw it self, what do you think,,,,,,,,

I did it on a '94 S10 blazer with 18" of spring only lift.

To do a real flush IMO you can't dump more down the dipstick and have it mix with the old.

What I did was put a wide pan under it, removed the filter, took a piece of heater hose that fit tight into the filter hole, put the heater hose into a gallon jug of new trans fluid, let it run, suck it in and drip out into the big catch pan until it came out clean.

It may not do anything, maybe it's a waste of time. But I never had a problem with that trans and it beats sitting on the couch watching tv.
