Default PT str question.

ok my car is a full bolton car with 3.73s..its prolly weights about 3600 with me in it..ive got a ss3600 in my car now and its fun but shes not a daily driver no more and i want to see what all the hype is about with these pt converters...well i bought a used one off here about 2 weeks ago (pt4400) and im not goin to install it untill my stock tranny gives up and i get a new one(its already had 2 different converters in it haha) but b4 i put it in a new tranny im goin to send it to yank and have them go thew it...my question is what str is better for my car...i see that they offer 2 differnt ones an 2.2 and a 2.5..and from my understanding the lower the str the easier it is too hook and the more effecent it is up top(better for low rolls and shyt)what do yall think and another thing is a 4400 too much or should i get it stalled to a 4000..??

btw : my car will hardly ever see the track but i love to dig race on the street..

thanx for the help..

If you're keeping the car on motor, I would keep it 4400 and have them do the standard 2.5 str. On my car, with the PT4400, 3.73 gears, and at 2800lbs, we were actually seeing 2.8 str.

from what i read the lower the str the worse the drivability but the more power you will make at high rpms.
