Default Yank PT4000 going from 3.23's to 3.73's

Well I have had this converter with 3.23's for quite sometime now. I finnaly bought some 28x13.50' et streets and the car dead hooks on the street and actually bogs now off the hit. I finnaly bought some motive 3.73's that are going in tomorrow. What can I expect as far as differences launching, going from punches and highway cruising. With the 3.23's now COASTING on the highway at 80 w/ converter locked it turns about 2200-2500 rpm. When I lightly accelerate the rpms come up more than I like w/ the converter still locked. With the new gears with it somewhat in a way "tighten" the converter up on the highway lightly accelerating compared to those 3.23's...or is it going to spin higher under light acceleration with 3.73's?

my pt4400 with 3.73s and a 26" tire she turns 24-2500rpms keeping up with traffic.. @ 60 mph she is at 2k. it will tighten up a lil with the gears but these converter get loose fast and you having 28" tires isnt helping on the street..when i changed gears (3.23s - 3.73) the only time i noticed a difference was goin from a dig and crusing rpms (also my mpg went down 1-1.5 points) with a ss3600.hope that helps some

3400 stall, 3.73 gears, ms4, bolt ons. I felt a little difference going from 3.23 to 3.73. Nothing major. The main difference is the stall is more "tight" in city driving. And, I love the fact that I can accelerate quickly to 35mph (where my converter locks at), have the converter lock up, and have very good acceleration without having the converter unlock to get the speed up. Highway driving is a whole new experience too. I turn about 2500 rpms at 75mph. But again....the acceleration is nice for passing calmly since it doesn't need to unlock to accelerate. If I don't pay attention it will accelerate to 90-100mph without any real effort!
