t-400 question what would cause this to happen?
had the car at the track last sunday on my first run the trans exploded on the big end.it felt strong to the 1/8 and shortly after i put it in high gear it kinda felt a little slugish.the shift light came on a little sooner then usally but stayed in it as soon as i went through the traps i let off the throttle and bang the trans exploded. it exploded the upper part of the case behind the bellhousing. the car still had first gear and third but no second and reverse.car still went 10.39@129 1/4 & 6.61@105 1/8 1.40 60FT
