Default Transmission Mount breaking repeatedly

Ok, so after installing my suspension mods, i broke my transmission mount about 1000 miles later. Well, i replaced it with just a stock replacement rubber, now, less than 1000miles after that, it is broken again.

wtf?

any explanation as to why this could be happening? btw, currently the car has 76xxx miles.

how much power are you running? are you sure you installed it right? you should go with an energy suspension or prothane mount

mods in sig, so i would guess maybe 260rwhp at very best

i am pretty sure it was installed correctly, just put it in like i took the old one out.

where can i get an energy suspension mount?

the car is a DD in the summer so i don't want it vibrating like crazy and making tons of noise.

Put one of their torque arm bushings on there too.

Check your motor mounts. Most likely one of them has failed causing the tranny to take undue stress.

Installing a polyurethane mount is not the solution. It can and will impart NVH and can lead to breaking the extension housing... seen that more times than I can think of.
