Lightbulb HELP tranny not lining up to k member

i just swapped my LT1 to LS6 in my 93Z.. now the tranny wont line up to the tranny k member. i got a new built 4l60e all works well but its to close to the driver side and causing the DS to rub against my tunnel mounted torque arm .. .. do i need a LS1 style k member? any ideas??????????

Maybe the engine mounts are causing it to be a bit off. Try to loosen up all the mounts to straighten it out. Vince

i remember when i installed the poly motor mounts the actual poly piece was more to one side of the center metal piece so when on opposite sides the mount on one side is closer to the front of the car than the other .. here is a link to summit click on the pic and you can see what i mean

notice the gold metal piece how much more is exposed on one side then the other... and i cant switch em to make them both sit the same so i dunno... any other ideas????????
