Default stall in stock tranny?

Well Im just curious if you guys think a stock 4l60E will be able to handle a 3800 yank stall? The car is basically just a bolt-on car. The tranny has 68,000 miles and seems very strong. The car it came out of just had a borla catback. I test drove the car the last night so I havent actually got the tranny yet. It will have a shift kit installed before I even put it in the caf and the car already has a cooler. Also how much do shops usually charge to install a shift kit? I just wanted to get some opinions if it will be alright.
Thanks Brandon

Yea a stall definetly does. It has a 3000 tci stall in it right now but the tranny is taking a dump thinks to the tranny line coming off the cooler. So I figure I would pick this tranny up for now while I save for a performabuilt. I also picked up a 3800 yank to. How much of a difference do you think I'll feel going from a 3000 to a 3800 stall??

Not that much. I went from a TCI 3000 to a Yank SS3600 and it's slightly looser. After a day or two, I started to forget while driving that I made the change, as the car felt so similar.

You probably won't feel much difference. The TCI 3000 I had in my 98Z felt about the same as a 3600 Vig in a TA I drove. IMHO, the TCI is just too loose for a DD.
