4L60E which clutch pack is best?
Deciding on a clutch pack for my 3-4.
I burned up an alto in about 2xxx miles.
I have a few im thinking about. just want to know a few opinions.
*Z-pac
*borg warren hi energy
*raybestos blue plates
Im putting down about 460 hp and its my weekend warrior. it gets abused worst than a red headed step child.
Any other suggestions are appreciated. I have searched myself blue!

I have prefered the Borg Warner Hi-Energy 8 clutch setup here for Street/Strip now for over 12 years with much success. Around 2001, I started to use the Borg Warner Hi-Energy 9 clutch setup (4L65E clutches) for Pro Street or Strip only use, and they haved worked out very well. The Z-Pak is good, but is limited in HP. I improve on this setup to hold 16 one sided clutches instead of the standard 14. This gives the eqivalent of 8 normal two sided clutches which can only add to durability here, and this is assuming that everything else is done correctly.

I was told that i would want to run 8-9 clutches because it is a happy medium. If i go with more, then i run the risk of them warping easier when they get hot. can you or anyone explain why running 16 over 14 is better?
