Default Tranny troubles

I have a 94 Z28 and I guess my 3rd and 4th gear went out somehow, and I found a used tranny, my question is Will a 4L60E from a 2wd truck work with a z28? All the lady told me is that on the tranny it said "2CCD". Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Can I use the tail housing off of the bad tranny? And how do I know for sure this 4l60e is not a 4wd one? Thanks

Yes you would take the housing o the old one and as for the 2wd 4x4 thing that will be obvious the output shaft is much shorter

Ok I found a better deal a 4l60e from a caprice with a recent rebuild with less than 40k. For 350. Will this be a direct bolt-on? Thanks.
