Default Converter Spacing 4L80E w/ Yank SS4000

I measured 5/16", which is at the upper tolerance recommended by Yank. Should I run it like this or shim it a little bit? What do you guys think?

I don't have a measurement yet, but I think the pilot bearing is engaged a bit over 1/8"...

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Happy Labor day.

you can add a shim to the lug But on the 4l80 the pump design will allow you to run more pull up than a 4l60
1/4" is a target #

Thanks Yank. I think I'll add shims, at the same time, making sure that my pilot bearing still hangs in there far enough, and I'm pretty sure it will.
