Default 27" tire, 4.56 gear,th400 convert???

I have a converter that came with this mustang, it is a tcs 4000 to 4500. The guy said it was a 4K but the guy at tcs said it was more like a 4.5K.

I'm thinking about using it just to see were it puts the car at.

The car is: 383 afr 205 heads, T rex cam(242/248) vic jr and 750 mighty demon carb, with long tubes.

The car is pretty much just a race car. 27" tire, 4.56 gear with a spool. TH400 rmvb with a brake. But will be street drive once in a while.

Is this converter too much or just about right???

Your stall is probably ok, but you will probably need more tire with that gear ratio. Like 28" or 29.5".

I'm thinking about having it mini tubbed when I take it to this shop to get wired up. I think the guy will do it for about $400. That way I can get the right off set wheels and put a bigger tire under it.
