my question is my boss has one that needs rebuilding and i can buy it for $20 or $30. now is it worth it to get and have a guy i know build it? how much HP can they handle when there built? any info would be nice. Iam looking at putting in a 78 monti with a ls2 that is going to be stock for now but i will end up building it.

If you have to do all the fab work anyway just get a 4l80e unless your going to run under 450hp.

thanks for the info. i do plan on running over 450 HP down the road. i was just wondering if it would be worth it.
