while domestics are up and down japanese carmakers are still leading.

Good to see the CTS up there, I think the last few decades really hurt the Domestics, imo nowadays the big three make just as good of a car as the Japs...

Agreed. Although its hard for people to switch their habits. Dad has had 3 Toyota pickups since 1985. Sold every one of them running like a swiss watch with 200k on the odometer for a decent chunk of change. He bought a 2000 Avalon, it now has 225k on it and runs like a champ. They bought a 2012 Camry V6, it now has 30k on it, never been back to the dealer except for free oil changes.
