They are HUGE. i believe like 15-16" discs after the caliper you'd likely need 19-20" wheels

The vid someone posted earlier said 15.5 fronts and 15.3 rears. I wouldn't mind swapping in some of that stopping power.

I was certain the last ZO6 topped 100k fully optioned. If so, no surprise here. Well, no surprise regardless.

I was discredited on this months ago.

The ZR1 is much much more interesting.

1) Learn to multi-quote. It's easy. I'll even do it in this response to show you how.
2) No a C6Z06 could not be run up to 128k, you're thinking ZR-1.

The references I saw to 100k being the max were quotes from Tadge Juechter. I didn't hear him say it though. I also heard he said "if you can afford the outgoing Z06 you can afford this one." I'm surprised too.

This was the quote from him, per Autoblog: "Juechter tells Autoblog that if you were able to afford a C6 ZR1, you can afford a new Z06." Between that and everything added to this car I'm guessing it's going to start very close to $100k. It really depends on what comes standard though I guess. Fully loaded this is going to be $115-120k car. Still thinking this should have had ~700hp and the ZR1 badge with a stripped down track focused Z06 between it and the base C7.

How many road race cars run around with blowers? I dont get it. They say it was directly developed with the C7R. Then why does the engine have a heat pump?

HORSEPOWER! It sells cars and consider how difficult it would be to match that power N/A while still being remotely reliable or street driver friendly and still fit in to the picture of fuel economy across the lineup.

Anyway, I would expect the past several winners of the 24Hr Le mans did so with a turbo or two.

Just for the hell of it I went onto Chevy.com and priced out a FULLY loaded C7 'Vert with all the trimmings, and it came out to $81K. So with a base price of ~$51K, they'd have to base the new ZO6 at ~$70K assuming everything else stays the same. The ZO6 would be a STEAL at $70K considering the Viper bases at ~$20K+ more, and the ZR1 based at $115K. The hilarious part is the APR of 14.7% for well qualified buyers listed on their site for the full-optioned C7 'vert. I've NEVER heard of APR that high for any new car (unless your credit score is 7), but for that to be the "well qualified buyer" rate; Jesus Christ. However, I guess if you're seriously considering this car, then you're probably no financing it; or much of it.

I still remember when a FULLY loaded C5 went for like $45K. haha

they said, in the video in this thread that a new Z06 fully optioned is just under 100k.
