The F-Body Mailing List http://www.f-body.org
Shortly after F-body.org was moved off Wj.Net some guy calling himself "The Rock and Roll Doctor" Started camaro.com but that was bought and sold a few times around the net, and I have no idea where it is now or what the state of the site is. Anyhow. Jason Debler and Chris Freza left The F-Body.org mailing list and Started Camaroz28.com which grew to become one of the larger websites out there.
Anyhow so Rob Glover who took over the F-Body.org mailing list in ...maybe..1996? He made some changes to accomodate the new growth like splitting up various sub-lists etc, and some people were not happy with the changes (no reasonm to dig 10 year old dirty laundry here). Wendy Fisher and some others started www.f-body.com
Anyhow, F-body.com went through it's various growing pains and the like and spun off a couple of other boards like the SLP message board (Which is owned and moderated by SLP). Eventually Chris Hutchinson made LS1.com for his then new LS1 Camaro, added a message baord and the whole thing just took off. Eventually LS1.com became one of the largest message boards online. I think it's first spin off was LS1fun.com which was started by a group of people that thought Ls1.com wasn't "fun" enough and wanted more freedom in the lounge. Conversly LS1Tech.com was started by people thinking that Ls1.com wasn't technical enough and had gone a little too wild and crazy. Well Ls1fun.com sort of dropped off the map, and Ls1Tech.com has become even larger than LS1.com so that just goes to show that site needs to keep it's focus.
So that was a brief history from F-Body.org mailing lsit started at Cisco to LS1Tech today.
...not that you asked for a history lesson.... You just asked for some good sites. Here are my picks.
Corvettes
www.corvetteforum.com
www.digitalcorvettes.com
www.z06vette.com
GTO
www.ls1gto.com (same as ls2gto.com)
CTS-V
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...splay.php?f=98
Firebird Camaro (1998+)
www.ls1tech.com
www.ls2.com
www.ls1.com
www.lsfun.com
For older Camaro and Firebird Sites..... man more than the stars in the sky.

PS I would like to see what other good sites people have found out there If this thread becomes popular I'll put a sticky on it.

Not neccesarily an all out F-body website, but www.ls7power.com fairly new site that is dedicated to the most badass engine GM ever produced. It does have sections for Camaro's and Trans Am's as well as the new V8 Impala and Monte Carlo SS. It's just getting going but it already has some interesting articles.
