The Carerra GT engine was originally designed to be part of a LeMans assault, but obviously that never happened. Instead the sick GT was born.

I hope Porsche builds this car, and is serious about racing a version at LeMans...it's time for the domination to continue.

P.S. if you didn't see the link, they're rumouring 254mph top speed for the street version.

It's important to add, as is noted in the article that upcoming prototype classes at LeMans and ALMS will be required to be closed roof designs.

Just means that Porsche will have a jump start on the competition. Love that car. Give me a Porsche any day of the week over a lot of other sports cars, including the Bugatti ( )

Sick. There are a few GT1s cruising the streets. That old design was incredible to see.

Using the Carrera Gt, as the new GT1 works for me. Porsche is tops IMO and always has been.

Cool but, I'm I the only one who finds this HP wars between supercars BORING??? This is getting ridiculous really fast. These cars are getting to the point where they will become impossible to drive in the street, oh well....
