Default MM question

First I'll be apologetic from the beginning in asking a (probably) silly question. I just bought the UMI MM's and my V ('04 model) has long tubes. How much more time is that going to add to the installation process, do I have to remove the LT's in order to do this replacement?. BTW, I just got this car about two months ago. I am a long time corvette guy, and we bought this as a grocey getter.

Thanks for the help.

You can try to do the install with the LTs in place, but my guess is that you'll probably end up removing them. I installed the UMI MMs on my '04 last weekend, and I ended up removing the stock cats/exhaust manifolds just to gain a little extra clearance...granted I'm also doing a LT install as well, so it didn't add extra time.
I'd estimate maybe an extra 1.5-2 hours to drop the LTs in your case.

You have to remove the LT to replace motor mounts on a V.. stock manifolds no according to the CS video on youtube

headers the first time took me 8 hours alone on jack stands.. the second time i could probly do it in 5 alone

Haven't gotten to drive it yet...I still haven't installed the headers.
Hope to have everything wrapped up this weekend.
