V remote stopped working, the trunk button, and tire press sensors
Well the title kind of says it. All of a sudden my remote stopped working and I can not open or lock my car. I replaced the battery...a waste of 6 bucks. The tire press sensors have just 3 blank underscore lines and show no numbers. Also my trunck button will not open the trunk. Frustrating as hell!!! Any suggestions greatly apreciated

The FOB may need to reset. To this, just hold the lock and unlock botton on the FOB at the time for about 5 seconds. The worn should sound.
If the TMPS is still messed up, do the following to reset to the TPMS:
-Key in Run with engine off.
-Park brake set, cluster on TPMS display.
-Press and hold both the lock and unlock at the same time for about 10 secs until the horn honks.
-Let air out of (or put air into) Left front tire until you hear another horn honk (only let the air our for about 3-5 seconds, and wait until the horn honks. It could take up to 30 seconds before the horn honks.
-Repeat on Right Front tire.
-Repeat on Right Rear tire.
-Repeat on Left Rear tire.
-After left rear tire you should hear a double honk and the process is complete.
-Verify the pressures on the cluster display.
If that doesn't work, it could be the receiver for the key FOB.

like budracing said the remote control door lock receiver receives the signal from the key fob and the tire pressure monitoring system. if the control module fails, or the circuitry fails then youll loose key fob operation and tire pressure monitoring. if you want to check it yourself send me a PM and i can get you the schematic.
