LS6 vs LS2 MP112
Ive searched of course, but have not gotten any definate answers. In the process of possibly sealing the deal on a mp112 for an LS6.
What do I need to make it fit my LS2. Is it a bunch of money to make it work on my car?
Any info would be appreciated, thanks

I think the big difference when new, is that there's no tax on the LS2 kit. You have to be careful about being pulled over with it, though, as it's "FARM USE ONLY"...
Seriously, though, are you getting a great deal on an LS6 one? Because they seem to be cheap enough to just go new. Hendrix seems to have occasional sales where they are like $4,500 brand new.
Going used, I'm guessing you'd be forgoing any warranty on the unit itself, and it seems like the rotor clunk is a fairly common issue in this application.
I have to say, I wonder if that's because they are driven too fast. The M90's on 3800's go for hundreds of thousands of miles without failure. The 112 is pretty small for an engine making 450whp, and thus is driven pretty fast already, then people add an 8" crank pulley to make it faster still.

Don't waste your time. I called Magnuson up directly and said what am I looking to replace. It was so many parts to make it work properly that he had to call me back. From them, brand new parts, it was around $3000.

Call them yourself. I should of gotten a parts list and posted it. You could always have the "f*ck the world" mentality and get it and try it. I'll sell you mine with a custom ground cam : ) Got headers to if you need them Of course, the price would have to be right

pretty much everything is different, minus the blower.

Well not really, because I ended up paying less.
Even on the used market you are going to pay $3500 for the kit. Another $450 in parts and easily another $50 at Home depot. At that rate you might as well spring or a brand new one with a warranty.
