up until saturday night when my truck was totaled I had a 03 silverado...cammed 6.0...4l80e 3600 yank verter...soo I'm familar with the ls game but have never messed with a V just always wanted one

I'm looking at an 05 with 80,000 miles I was just wondering is there anything to look out for on them or beware of...all i have seen is the rear end problem and that's all that is holding me back right now...thanks guys any help is greatly appreciated

hey bud- I dont know where you are located but i think i am looking to get rid of my V. 2005 with less than 50k miles on it.. Black on Black
I bought it from some rich IT guy... It wasnt beat and i didnt beat on it either. Still has the stock differential, just as a testament that it wasnt beat on. I wanted to do some upgrades before i really unleashed the beast but never got around to it. So, she is completely stock. i just put new tires on about 5k miles ago.
