Default Blank Info Display??

I usually leave the upper display menu on Instant MPG(trying to keep it in the 20's lol) but twice now I've started it up and the menu will be blank. I can go to the info menu and select any option, but the upper display stays blank. It'll pull up the reset button for certain functions, but the display is blank(shows function is checked, but won't display. If I shut the car off and restart this seems to fix it. Any ideas???

Weird The other day when I cranked it up and all the cluster lights(abs, brake, t/c, etc) came on and stayed on. Then the display said service stability system and service steering system. I was like WTF and turned it off and back on and it went away..I'm thinking fault SWPS on that one.

Check your grounds (splice packs, engine, body, etc) and make sure your battery is up to snuff. A battery with enough internal resistance can do this weird kind of crap.
