Default Maggie and iat

I have been on a mission to reduce my iat's the last few weeks. I have a Maggie head unit and a separate radiator for it from froozen boost I believe. I recently added their filling cap and was watching the temps. It was 87F oat today and when I parked the iat read 140F. I immediately took the cap off and measured the coolant temp at 101F. The 10-15F rise seems reasonable for the coolant but what is the deal with the IAT?

Is this what everyone else is seeing? It seems like the temp sensor isn't really reading the air temp. Anyone relocate the sensor farther into the airflow?
Boost or no boost the temp doesn't change much, it increases on deceleration and the temp decreases once you are back under some load.

The Omega thermister mod with help with accuracy. You can try an upgraded pump and additional HEX, but I don't know if they will work too well. The 112 is just barely big enough for a 6.0.
