Is this the world's fanciest CTS-V? That might be true. The carbon fiber weave on the engine cover is exquisite, but the bulk of the work on this CTS-V wasn't wasted on dressup. Derek goes into the details over the blog here.

Boy, Cadillac has come a long way in the past 10+ years. It used to be known as the official car company of old people. The V series of performance cars has done a lot to change the company’s image and build its high-speed credentials. Models such as the CTS-V are now compared to uber-powerful sedans such as the legendary BMW M5. On top of that, one gentleman decided to turn a 2011 V into the poshest drag racer on the planet. That’s right – a leather-lined strip rocket wearing the wreath and crest.
It turns out the car’s original owner(s) started the souping-up process. This tuned two-door already had parts such as American Racing headers, an upgraded heat exchanger, an upper pulley and Eibach springs. Its new driver, who goes by the screen name EcoboostPowerParts, took things a step further with a “ZL1 [supercharger] lid, ID 1300 injectors, BAP, Flex Fuel sensor and then a few mods for looks including a complete blackout of the car and hydrodipping [of] various parts and the engine covers.”
