Default Kooks and Pacesetter Header Comparison

So currently I have Pacesetter 1 3/4 headers with their connection "extension" to bolt right up to the stock exhaust. I was fortunate to come across that sale for Kooks 1 3/4 for $600 shipped and I was wondering if anyone has made this "upgrade" needed anything for install? I know the Pacesetters are 2 1/2 and Kooks are 3" but I was wondering how much space/length difference if any.

Thanks in advance

Kooks will not bolt on stock exhaust under any circumstances. Need to get the Kooks or OBX connectors and cut the stock before the merge. Since you have the magna flow you need to decide if you are gonna hack up the x-pipe section. I did this using an x pipe from Jegs for the newer Camaros. I can get some pics up.

Here's a shot of mine when it still had the Kooks headers and Magnaflow cat-back. The Magnaflow pipes were cut off upstream of the X, and you can see where they were heated up to bend them a bit to mate up to the Kooks cats.
