And it does drive the price up. So they should cost about $500 for a set used. I see a lot of people getting them on the cheap $300~
I've seen the prices on 243s dropping the last year or so(sold a few sets this year). I agree true sodium-valved heads should carry a premium. It occurs to me that few buyers and sellers know how to(or are willing to) prove the valves out. Combine that with so many LS2 and truck heads(and the 799s) It feels like most are just *over* the light valves. I like the idea of the lighter valves and would gladly pay for them.
I had a full set of very nice Del West titanium valves for cathedral heads early this year and ended up dumping them for about $100 because folks just didn't see the value.
